Being apart of the Roger Williams Women's Lacrosse team is one of the things I am most proud of in life. I wanted to ensure that when I left I could still be just as proud. As a Hawk, I ensured that the material I was creating would benefit the past, present and future players and fans. I wanted to engage viewers in the Hawk lacrosse lifestyle and show them what a determined and well rounded group these girls are and how they could be apart of an amazing team, family and university.
Videos
After a stellar 2018 season the Hawks have revamped and trained for the exciting 2019 schedule ahead. Using the popular and motivating "We Ready" video, I decided to portray the RWU Hawks and how they "are ready" for the competition they will face in their season. The dramatic cinematic scenes also act as a key recruiting tool displaying all angels of the team and beautiful campus.
Graphics & Media
In 2017 myself and another teammate founded the first RWU women's lacrosse Instagram. Instagram was the main channel I would promote the Hawks on, due to the best involvement and return with our audience. On this channel I would post game day and other related to functions, as well as daily activities the Hawks would endure. I would get these messages across by launching pictures, graphics or videos, which I created. You may see two different logos and uses colors, this is because in Fall 2018, Roger Williams announced a new brand image. They changed their logo and main colors, my past graphics are now out of date but I am currently still creating for the Hawks using the new elements.

In 2018 our coach wanted the Instagram page to be very media heavy, intriguing all of our viewers by putting a face and mentality to the team and all of its individual players. We had many posts that went along with this vision but I also created a weekly series called "Walk the Eight with a Teammate." (i.e see video bellow.)
This is only one example of 26 that I created, every week I would write 4-6 intriguing copy questions to give to my "host" Abby to ask the selected teammate as I follow and film them walking around the "8" meter.
Despite the weekly "Walk the Eight with a Teammate" video upload, I would also produce other videos throughout the season to gain a slice of life feel for outsiders to look closer into our world and what our days consist of.
All of the media I designed and promoted game our team an extensive fan base this year. My goal was to grow our media and personal followers to gain more recognition to the Hawks. In doing so, I believe I enhanced the RWU Hawks brand image, as well as gained more future recruits.
